Can I bring my pet?

Yes you can bring your pet; we ask that you abide by our pet policy which will be made available on arrival.

Is there internet access?

Not at this stage, but we are working on it.

Are campfires permitted?

Fires only at dedicated campsite locations are permitted and are subject to instructions by NT Rural Fire Service. At this stage you must supply your own wood – collection of wood within the campground is not permitted. We are looking into wood supply options.

Can I buy food and beverages?

Stay tuned on this one. We are undertaking a planning process to redevelop the Old Bush Pub (currently known as the pub with no beer). At this stage BYO and food and beverages and we will provide updates via social media and website on how this project is progressing.

Can I drink the water?

We have running water for the ablution block, sinks etc, however, need to upgrade the header tank to confirm suitability for drinking, so just for now please bring your own drinking water.

What is the refund policy?

We will refund with 48 hrs’ notice before the day of booking.

Do you have laundry facilities?

Not yet, but it is in our master plan for stage 2 of the development.

Is there a dump point?

We would be keen to hear your thoughts on this, as it is something we could include in stage 2 of development.

Where can I buy fuel?

You need to plan your fuel, particularly if travelling south from the Plenty Highway. The nearest service station is 110 km to Alice Springs. Be sure to carry ample fuel as you will need fuel in the tank to visit Ruby Gorge and the Historical mining sites.

Please respect the safety of others and keep your speed below 10km through the campground.

Are there powered campsites?

No, this is old-school camping in the great outdoors!

Can the Arltunga Bush Pub & Eco Retreat be booked in its entirety for special events, like weddings and birthdays etc.?

Yes. Please contact us for relevant information.
